Waterfront Concerts teamed up with Suicide Awareness Voices of Education and Music Matters to present year two of the massive Impact Music Festival.
Impact Fest 2019 brought an onslaught of hard rock and heavy metal to Bangor's waterfront for two days of music and excitement, all for a great cause. The thrust of Impact Fest is to bring fans of all walks of life together to help spread awareness and raise money in the name of suicide prevention. Seeing the massive turnout for both days of the festival definitely sparked a huge sense of joy and inspiration in the human spirit.
Headlining night one was the ever dominant Five Finger Death Punch, who lit up the night with a fierce musical energy matched only by their immense stage presence. From note one, their charismatic, chest pounding anthems sent Bangor into an explosive display of both wild physical energy and great emotion that is matched by few. One only needs to witness the first few seconds of their set to know that they are in for a good time!
The day was packed from start to finish with a wide variety of hard rock, metal, and even a bit of folk to keep things different and fun for all. From the infectious metalcore sounds of Norma Jean and Skillet, to the wild hard rock hits from Andrew WK and Clutch, all the way to the insanely theatrical stylings of In This Moment, there was plenty to keep the spirits of those in attendance riding high until the last note.
This was only the beginning, as Impact Fest 2019 would only pick up steam as it rolled into day two...
